Oh my, how crazy things have been. I have had the pleasure of working a stand at a BBQ cook off circuit with a man that I met on FB, Matt, or Jimbo Jitzu, as he is more fondly known to the FB community. He and his wife, Angie, have been wonderful to hang out with and get to know, and I look forward to continuing to work with them in the future. ;)
I have made many more new friends in the Vendor Family. Breanna from Jamberry Nails, her wife, Cayleigh of Cay's Knotty Things, Ali of Paparazzi Jewelry and Shannon, from Party Lite. And that is only to name a few. I'm also going to try my hand at direct sales and branch out into the Party Lite world. I'm not sure how that will work out, but I'm going to give it a shot.
And probably most important is that I have decided if I am going to own my own business, then I am going to own a business. I am going to commit 8 hrs a day to my company/work. I am going to have a website with my own domain name. I am going to write enough patterns to one day publish a book. And one day, I am going to own my own store/restaurant. These are things that will happen.
I am starting with the website on Vistaprint. I am still going to keep this one open for several reasons. However, that one has a much easier set up process for my own online store, my own domain and several other things. Also, I get my business cards through Vistaprint, so it makes sense to keep it all together.
Many, many great things are in store, and I hope that you will all join me for the ride. ;)
